Set in Alta city centre and within 4 km of The Rock art of Alta, the 4-star Canyon Hotell holds a Booking.com rating of 8.2/10 and features self check-in, a shared lounge, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi, and a children's play zone.

Amenities

At Canyon Hotell, rooms include a seating area, a desk, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom; some bathrooms have underfloor heating. Entry uses door codes sent by text, and TVs support Chromecast. Daily housekeeping, luggage storage, and meeting/banquet facilities are available on site.

Dining

The included breakfast buffet is served in a restaurant that also offers dinner with Arctic cuisine, but it is not open every day and dinner requires advance booking. The on-site bar is open daily and pours Nord Lys pilsner; a nightclub with DJ operates in the basement on Saturday nights.

Leisure

Guests can book sauna sessions, and the tour desk arranges excursions with Aeventyr, whose meeting point is inside the hotel. Northern Lights Cathedral is within walking distance, and a free ice skating pond is outside the door. The Alta hotel's central location also places it near Amfi Mall, a cinema, and a bus stop 150 metres away.

Transportation

Canyon Hotell is 4 km from The Rock art of Alta and 45 km from Sautso. The nearest airport is Alta Airport, 5 km away, about a 15-minute bus ride. Paid public parking is available nearby, since the hotel has no dedicated parking lot.
